According the the countdown clock on the hokiesports website, there are 2 days, 8 hours, 30 minutes, and 35 seconds until the Hokies kickoff the most highly anticipated season since 1999. The Hokies are ranked #7 in the country in both the Associated Press and USA Today Polls. They will be playing # 5 Alabama on Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia. The game will be nationally televised on ABC and ESPN's College Gameday will be at the dome to broadcast the day's excitement.
